Just two days ago, theme park fans had to bid farewell to two Disney attractions: the Universe of Energy pavilion at Epcot and The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Fans will soon have to get ready to say goodbye to yet another attraction (they’re actually two separate coasters, but they coexist under the same name) that has been operating at Universal’s Islands of Adventure since opening day: Dragon Challenge. Guests have less than a month to ride them one last time.
In this photo-report we will take a look around Dragon Challenge and the rest of the park to see what’s new:

Some work is being done near the base of the arch:
Let’s continue our visit:
Camp Jurassic seemed to be quite crowded:
The same was true for Reign of Kong:
Toon Lagoon:
A 20-minute wait is not bad, especially if we are talking about one of the best water rides ever created:

Moving on:
Marvel Superhero Island:
35-minute wait for The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man:
We were surprised to see that Doctor Doom’s Fear Fall had a 45-minute wait:
The Incredible Hulk Coaster only had a 20-minute wait:
Seuss Landing:
30-minute wait for “the ride that has the longest name ever”:
Honk Honkers is still sitting empty:
The Lost Continent:
And here we are, getting closer to Dragon Challenge:
The ride only had a 15-minute wait:
This view will be totally different by the end of the year:
It would be great if Universal allowed the coasters to duel one last time before the attraction closes forever:
It’s time to leave:
