For more than 30 years, Wet ‘n Wild Orlando has been the water park where endless numbers of families and friends have created memories that will last a lifetime. From the laughter of rushing down thrilling water slides to watching little ones take their first splash, special moments have happened each day.
There’s a little time left to create lasting memories with your family and friends before the gates close on Dec. 31, 2016. However, the excitement and thrills Wet ‘n Wild has offered will continue at Universal’s Volcano Bay, a next-generation water theme park opening next summer.
We’ve been so grateful to you our fans for your continued support. We recently asked what your favorite memories have been at Wet ‘n Wild and here are a few we wanted to share:
“My favorite memory is when I decided to face my fear of water slides. I went on the Brain Wash and it’s still my favorite to this day. This place gave me the happiest days of my life.”
– Jenna Y.
“I proposed to my wife on the beach in front of the beach club on a rainy afternoon in January at Wet ‘n Wild.”
– William V.
“My favorite memory of Wet ‘n Wild is going with my family to celebrate both mine and my great grandma’s birthday! I’m sad to see it go, but I am super happy I was able to have lots of memories and share this experience with my loved ones.”
– Tatiana M.
We also want to thank our passionate Team Members who help make each guest’s experience fun, relaxing and safe. A few Team Members reflected upon their time at Wet ‘n Wild and shared the below:
“Wet ‘n Wild is a place filled with love and excitement reflected by a family atmosphere that creates memories that will live forever.”
– Glenn, Lifeguard/Attractions
“Wet ‘n Wild has been such a fun place to work. Many lifelong friendships and relationships were started here. Many people that I have worked with over the years are as close to me as my own family. I will forever cherish the amazing memories I have from all my time working here. I will truly miss coming to work here every day.”
– Sherri, Finance
“Wet ‘n Wild is a place where strangers become friends, and those friends provide guests the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime.”
– Laquindell, Park Services
